Sojeong Lee is Director of the Upstream Process Development Group at Samsung Biologics. She successfully managed over 70 upstream development projects, including monoclonal antibodies and complex biologics. She earned a Ph.D. in mammalian cell line engineering and has over 12 years of experience in biologics process development, specializing in cell line development, upstream process development, and manufacturing in global biotech companies. Sojeong joined Samsung Biologics in 2020 as a USP lead scientist and has led multiple cell line development, upstream process development, toxicological material manufacturing, and tech transfer projects.
