Hongwoo Joo is Director of Digital Excellence at Samsung Biologics. He has over 15 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing. Since joining Samsung Biologics in 2016, he has built extensive expertise in drug substance manufacturing, including manufacturing operations, validation, and technology transfer. Currently, he focuses on advancing digital manufacturing through process standardization, manufacturing data management and utilization, automated manufacturing operations, and the implementation of digital-twin technologies.
