Back on English soil, in the heart of London, and to commemorate the end of Road to Europe, our crew concluded the epic journey with a victory drive around The Mall and a champagne shower.

Day 24 was dedicated exclusively to Paris, with four interviews all held on an island in the Seine known as Ile St Louis.

Today we reached our last destination in Paris, France, after driving through 27 countries in 23 days. We’re ahead of schedule, and still have a few more adventures planned!

Ever the overachievers, our team decided that instead of ending the day in Nancy, France, as originally planned over breakfast, they would add an extra hour of driving and instead end the day in Luxembourg.

The team wasn’t in the car for too long today, but they still managed to hop countries, from Italy to Monaco, to France, in under a day.

The first day on the trip of driving 0 miles – even on our long ferry day the team drove 150 plus miles!

There was no rain on Day 19, which meant the team could walk about and explore Zürich today before they had to hit the road.

The team started the day in Linz, Austria, and had three more countries to cover before days end: Germany, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland.

Day 17 was all Alps and Austria, as the team stayed in one country, but went up and down in altitude.

The team began their day in Zagreb, Croatia, with a quick tour of the city, then hit the road to make their next meeting in the capital of Slovenia — Ljubljana.

Day 15 was another rainy day on the road, but it didn’t stop the team from conducting four interviews in one day!

Day 14 on the Road to Europe consisted of three interviews, two capital cities, one castle, and no fuel stops (or police stops, for that matter)!

Another rainy day, but a lot accomplished on Day 13! And also another police stop. Maybe we should be adding those numbers to the metrics?

Day 12 began in Warsaw with a quick change of plans. Instead of staying in Poland and traveling on to Krakow, the team decided to head straight to the next country on the list: the Czech Republic.

Day 11 began in Vilnius, the second UNESCO World Heritage Site we have visited in 2 days, so the team was happy to have the time to explore (and try not to get into trouble with the local police again).

The team spent most of day ten in Latvia's historic city centre, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former European Capital of Culture.

Day 09 on the Road to Europe served up the team's final sea crossing – their seventh and (hopefully) final one.

On Day 08 the team did a lot of miles and travel time without the cars moving. It was one of the more unusual days as they took a ferry from Stockholm, Sweden to Turku, Finland, and then drove on to the capital, Helsinki.

Day 07 was lighter than the day before, but the team still had to travel from Denmark into Sweden and across to Stockholm, where the next leg would be by ferry to Finland.

Day 06 on the Road to Europe saw the first really big day of mileage in the Minis, with 715 miles ultimately traveled between Amsterdam in The Netherlands and Copenhagen, Denmark.

Day 05 on the Road to Europe was productive. The team started in Brussels after a decent night's sleep, looking forward to the days to come in mainland Europe.

Day 04 on the Road to Europe ultimately saw the start of the team’s journey in mainland Europe after covering the UK and Ireland.

Scotland was a busy country for the Road to Europe team! Our third day started in Cairnyryan on the coast of Scotland but we spent most of the day in Glasgow, before heading south across the border to end in Harrogate, England.

On Day 02, saw some of the sights of the great city of Dublin, including the Guiness Brewery, Trinity College and Merrion Square Park.

With much excitement, we got going on the Road to Europe, starting on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace in London and zigzagging a total of 410 miles across England and Wales.

After 18 months of planning and preparation, we come down to the day before our departure. Our crew of four have each packed 25 outfits, we've picked up the Mini Coopers, and we've got enough gear to load both little cars to the roof.
